Who can participate: the camp will be open to 4th- 8th grade boys. Boys will be grouped based upon skill level.

A “SPECIAL SUMMER FOR SPECIAL KIDS"; 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.

CAMP HAPPY DAY is a special camp for “Special Kids” who deserve a fun summer like any other child. This pro- gram is designed to meet the needs of Learning Disabled, Behavioral Disordered and Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disordered, Language Impaired students, ages 4-14. The blend of academic support, speech/language therapy and traditional day camp activities enables our campers to retain skills previously mastered while promoting positive self- esteem.

Come and bring a friend to rejoice in the presence of the Lord. There is an 8:00 am Mass at neighboring parish, Cure of Ars on Laclede Station Rd. for those who wish to attend.

Parish Drivers Needed!

The Parish Helpers need more drivers! These helpers assist the elderly of our parish by driving to doctor’s appointments, the pharmacy, events at church, and Sunday Mass. If you are able to serve in this way, please contact Judy at hunterj@saintgabes.net.

 
Twenty & Thirty Somethings:

Thinking of volunteering?  The Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers a variety of opportunities for young adults, including:

  • Home visitation of the needy through 140 chapters, to provide food, rent, clothing, utility and job referral.  Call Lynette at 881-1100 for more information on our St. Gabriel Conference.
  • Four young adult chapters, in Soulard, South Grand, Midtown, and Manchester.
  • A young adult food pantry program.
  • Four area Thrift Stores, in South City, Ballwin, St. Charles, and Dellwood.
  • Legislative liaison and pen pal programs for inmates.

7th of Every Month
