On the weekend of   Oct. 27th & 28th   Khader & Mary Abu Sada a Catholic couple from the Holy Land will be visiting our parish to market olive wood hand carved religious articles made by the Christian artisans in the Holy Land.  With the hostilities worsening in the Holy Land and the lack of Christian pilgrims, the outlets for the olive wood hand-carvings have been closed, leading unemployment to increase up to 75%, and forcing many Christians to leave the Holy Land in order to find other ways to market their handiwork. During Stewardship Month when we’re reminded to share our time, talent and treasure, it’s a great time to check the cushions of your couch and your coat pockets and to dip into that jar of coins in your closet and help make a difference at St. Gabriel the Archangel parish. Every weekend from September 15 – October 14, we’ll be collecting coins before and after masses in the vestibule.
