Have a few hours to help Church look its best? The St. Gabriel Arts and Environment Committee is looking for new leadership volunteers. Cancer Companions

Our St. Gabriel monthly Cancer Companion Support Group will begin a new nine month cycle beginning in March. We offer two options, Tuesday evenings or Saturday mornings. If you know someone in the parish who is in cancer treatment or post-treatment or their loved ones, who may need support, please call the parish nurse, Judy Hunter, at 353-6303 so we may reach out to them. Cancer does not get to be more important than the most important things in your life. The most important things in your life are the things you can use to push the cancer back.

Would you like to participate in the Vocation Chalice Program here at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish? Parishioners may sign up to accept the Chalice into their home for one week. You are asked to find a prominent place in your home where the Chalice is noticed throughout the week. Your responsibility is to pray daily for vocations to the priesthood and the Religious Life. There is a simple pamphlet to follow. At a previously agreed upon Sunday Mass, the family or individual will be called up after Communion to accept the chalice and receive a blessing. I...

FREE training: Msgr. Schuler with Catholic Charities On Saturday, February 18, from10:30am-12:00pm in the Gabriel House. During this training we will explore the "street strategies" that emanate from the Catholic Social Teaching. We will examine the background out of which these teachings were formed and look at the seven principles of Catholic Social Teaching espoused by the US Bishops and summarize these in six words.
