St. Gabriel Youth Group (SGYG)

SGYG is open to all high school teens. We meet on Wednesday evenings in the Gabriel House Chapel (on Tamm Ave. across the street from the school building). No sign-up necessary! High schoolers can attend on a regular basis or drop-in as it fits their schedule!

Youth Group is a way for teens to not only grow in their faith, but also build relationships and community with other teens by taking part in various activities. Our weekly meetings incorporate Life Teen programming along with snacks, game-playing, and socializing. Life Teen has a variety of faith-based topics available pertaining to Church Teachings, Teen Issues, Prayer & Spirituality, Social Nights as well as Retreat options.

SGYG teens can take part in service projects, prepare and attend retreats, participate in the Steubenville Mid-America Conference held in July at Missouri State University, attend Generation Life in January, and more!

Adult Core Team members are needed! If you are in college or beyond and would enjoy being a part of our Youth Ministry program please reach out to Sarah Henderson. We would LOVE to have you!

You can stay connected with SGYG through Facebook, Instagram, and Flocknote.

Contact Youth Minister, Sarah Henderson (info below) with any questions or ideas.

LUKE 18 Retreat | May 5th - 7th

The first LUKE 18 Retreat at St. Gabriel for current 8th Graders is happening May 5-7, 2023!

This weekend-long retreat is a wonderful opportunity for 8th graders (the Lukers) to experience God's love in new and exciting ways through games, skits, songs, sharing, and a series of talks given by high school and college students. By encouraging the Lukers to have fun and break down their "walls," the weekend helps them see that God and his love are present in relationships at home with their family, and at school with their peers, challenging them to share that love with others.

For more Information, Click Here.

To Register, 8th graders need to use the link found in the SGYG Forms/Registrations box at the top of this page by Wednesday, March 29th.

To Register, Team Members (high schoolers) need to contact Sarah for their form by Friday, March 10th. hendersons@stgabrielstl.org
