St. Gabriel will celebrate its annual Mass in the Grass on Saturday, September 28 in Francis Park at 4:00pm, across from the church. Parishioners are invited to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for this outdoor liturgy. In the event of inclement weather, the Mass will take place in church. After Mass we will have an Octoberfest-themed meal with bratwurst and side dishes.  Use the form below or in the bulletin to order food. All are invited to this fun and relaxing evening with your family, friends and the St. Gabriel parish community.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS—RCIA  This September we will again start the process for men and women who are inquiring about the Catholic Faith. RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process through which adults enter into the Catholic faith. RCIA is a spiritual journey designed in phases and implemented through various rites. Dogs and cats and birds, oh my! Please join us for the Blessing of the Pets as we honor Saint Francis of Assisi.  Laudato Si!   Blessing of the Pets ~ October 3, 2019 ~ Francis Park (Across from the church) Begin gathering at 3:10 pm. Calling All Musicians!

The St. Gabriel Parish Choir sings each Sunday at the 11:00 Mass, and rehearses each Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.  We are always in need of a few more tenors and basses, especially.  Musical reading is definitely a plus, but many quick learners with good ears do very well and learn some basic reading skills along the way.  We sing a wide variety of music from all musical eras, plus we always pray twice with our singing!  The St. Gabriel Young Adult Choir sings about three times each month, rotating mostly between the 9:00 and 11:00 Masses.  These talented young adults rehearse from 4...

Mass Stipends - The Bishops in the State of Missouri have increased the Mass stipend from $5 to $10.  As always, Mass Intentions will be accepted regardless of your ability to pay the stipend.
